Services Provided:
Dr. Lee provides the following services:
Acupuncture: Dr. Lee stimulates the body’s acupuncture points with
very fine needles to promote natural healing. This treatment can enhance your immune
system and your recuperative powers, support your physical and emotional health,
and improve overall functioning and well-being. It is safe, painless, and it helps
heal a variety of medical problems.
Acupressure: Acupressure is simply acupuncture without needles.
It is a massage technique that moves chi in and between various parts of the body.
It is used to relieve muscle pain, tension, and inflammation, and to heal injuries.
Cupping: Cupping is a method of stimulating acupuncture points
by applying suction through a glass jar in which a partial vacuum has been created.
This technique promotes the flow of chi and draws out toxins from the skin.
Electro-acupuncture: Electro-acupuncture is the application of
a pulsating electrical current to acupuncture needles as a means of stimulating
the acupoints. It can be used as a component of nearly all acupuncture treatments
that require the use of needles. Especially good results are expected from electro-acupuncture
treatment of neurological diseases, including chronic pain, spasm, and paralysis.
Moxibustion: Moxibustion, the burning of the herb moxa over channel
points and certain areas of the body, is used to warm, tonify and stimulate. It
also induces the smooth flow of the essential substances (a concept in Chinese medicine
of substances that keep the body in balance and support the body’s organ systems),
and helps prevent diseases and preserve health.
Herbal Supplements: Chinese herbal medicine is a major aspect of
traditional Chinese medicine, which focuses on restoring a balance of energy by
nourishing the body. Dr. Lee uses herbs from Sun Ten and California-based Brion
Herbs Corporation, which are certified by the FDA as adhering to cGMP (current good
manufacturing practices).
